Safeguarding Children Officer

My name is Mary-Jayne Carter and I am the Safeguarding Children Officer.

My job is to try and make sure children and young people are safe within the life of St. Thomas' Church.

Light Explosion

Our Alternative Halloween party is for children in primary school, on Monday 31st October, 4-6:30pm. Children in school years 4-6 can stay until 8pm to watch a film.

Messy Church!

Craft, celebration and tea for 2-8 year olds and their families.

Messy Church is usually held on the third Tuesday of the month.

Junior Church

There are lots of things happening for children on Sunday mornings. Children and adults all worship together in church at 10:30am, and then 5 different Junior Church groups meet during the last hour of the morning service.

There are several activities for the younger members of our community to get involved in.

Junior Church

Adults and children meet in church to worship together at the start of our 10:30am service. Junior Church groups meet for the last hour of the service. There are 5 separate groups, catering for ages 1 to school year 6. See the youth page for details of our activities for 11-18s.

Fusion

Fusion is a mid-week group for those in School Years 4 - 6, meeting Thursdays from 6.30pm - 8pm in the downstairs of St. Thomas's Centre.

Little Fishes

Little fishes is our parent and toddler group that runs on Wednesday mornings from 10 - 11.30am.

Pre-School

Our highly praised and OFSTED approved pre-school operates weekdays during term times, from 9:30am to 1:00pm on Monday and Friday, and from 9:30am to 3:30pm from Tuesday to Thursday, for 2-5 year olds. Please phone Sarah Pilling on 01524 590412 for more information.

Judah

Judah is a music group for children and young people that meets on a Friday evening.
