The information you need to know:
Day: Wednesday during term time
Time: 7.30pm
Place: Downstairs centre at church (building behind the main church)
Book/theme being studied: This term we'll be doing a bible overview to see the big themes that run through Old and New Testament and to get a clearer understanding of God's salvation story.
Here are some thoughts from people that have come along:
"I get a lot from the bible study. I find it really fascinating to discuss it in depth with other people and try to figure out the meaning of difficult passages. It definitely helps discussing it with your peers and I really enjoy working out how it applies to your daily life." - Ben
"I think it's really helpful to discuss and struggle with a passage in a group because I find we get a better understanding by talking it through than if we just read it by ourselves.” - Alice
"To me the bible is more than just a collection of religious books and more than just a manual for how to live your life as a christian, it's the divinely inspired, living and active power of God and the ultimate revelation of his plan to bring us back into relationship with him through Jesus - a story that all of history unfolds." - Andrew
