At St Thomas’ we welcome students from both Cumbria and Lancaster University, and we love encouraging you as you walk with Jesus, no matter where you are on that journey.
Most of our students attend the 7pm service, and enjoy meeting for student tea beforehand in the Centre. We also believe the best way for students to enjoy church is to serve in a ministry.
We would love to see you at one of our services, support you and share life with you as you pursue your student journey.

Student Teas
We have a meal together 5-6:30 every Sunday in term time in the Centre - behind church - before going to the 7pm service. (You can find out more about our services here). This is a great opportunity to chat, relax, and enjoy some good grub.
We bring the food, and we encourage you to bring the games, music, and chat!

7pm Service
The 7pm is one of our 3 services, and is especially recommended for students and young adults.
It involves ‘Word’ (a talk on the Bible), ‘Worship’ (live band & contemporary songs), and ‘Waiting’ (space for reflection and waiting on the Holy Spirit).
We also enjoy refreshments before the service, so do come and join us!

Deeper Groups
On Wednesdays we have ‘Deeper’ small groups at various homes, led by members of our church.
Each group has a different style, but there’s often food, a Bible study, and an opportunity to get off campus! Come along to student tea or contact us to find out more.

Get Involved!
St Tees is a church best embraced through serving and giving things a go! We love it when students support our various ministries.
Whether this is helping lead a youth huddle, being on the tech team, or supporting Thursday at St Ts, God gives everyone a servant heart. No experience necessary, just email us or chat to Ellen at the 7pm service, and have a look at what’s on here.
