Sharing information and ideas, including two great initiatives for churches to reach those living with dementia and their carers.

  • 10am Dementia Enablers Hear from founder and Cumbria Churches 

Together Dementia Ambassador David Richardson about this excellent initiative to help churches to care for those living with dementia.

  • 11.20 Living with Dementia: how can the church help?

Various speakers and perspectives.

  • 12.30 Home-made soup and sandwich lunch and networking.   

Vegetarian options available. Dairy and gluten allergies catered for on request. (Indicate on booking.)

Lyrics and Lunch is an award winning project serving those living with dementia and their carers which we have run in conjunction with St Chad’s Lancaster for over 5 years. See www.lyricsandlunch.org

We have already planted in some other churches and are now launching a Lyrics and Lunch Network, 
offering training, support and resources to help new groups to develop. Hear from founder Jeanette Main, team members and participants. With songs and laughter from singer and raconteur Jonathan Veira.
